What Should You Know Before Getting Started?
Here are answers to the questions I hear most often from new clients considering virtual therapy in Florida.
How does virtual therapy actually work?
Sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform from any private space with an internet connection. You’ll get a link before each session, and we meet just like we would in person.
Is therapy covered by insurance?
I am considered an out-of-network provider and can supply a superbill you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
How do I get started?
The first step is a free 10-minute consultation. We’ll talk briefly about what’s going on, what you’re hoping to change, and whether we’re the right fit. From there we schedule a full first session.
Can I do couples therapy if my partner isn't sure about it yet?
Yes. Many couples start with one partner more hesitant than the other. We can talk it through in the consultation, and often individual sessions are a helpful first step.
